      Northern Ontario
      We vacationed there this summer. It’s the place my family vacationed every year when I was a kid

         Funny – I was just going to comment and say it reminds me of Northern Ontario near the Canadian Shield!! 🙂

         Joan, I am embarrassed to say I had to look up “The Canadian Shield.” But I’m glad I did. I love geology and really enjoyed reading about it. Thank you for educating me today!! 🙂

         Apparently from all I read, the area I know in Northern Ontario is part of the Canadian Shield….and I agree it is the most beautiful place!! Its truly my favorite place in the world!!
