I walk a lot. But I don’t get a chance to “hike” very often. I guess to me hiking is getting away and becoming absorbed in nature. This is one of those things I will jump at the opportunity to do if it presents itself…but I rarely initiate the activity.
This picture was taken a few years ago in New Mexico. I was hiking with my friend Corey and my Pomeranian Chelsea (notice she is peaking out from the backpack!).
Can I ride with Chelsea?😉
LOL!’
I walk (not hike) every day for the daily paper. I stop and speak to all the dogs I meet.
My friends and I spend many many hours walking together for breast cancer. We also stop and visit with every dog!! Dogs are great people!!
Love how Chelsea is peering out of the backpack. You’d fit in well in Paris. That is, if Chelsea also likes handbags! xx Rowena
Chelsea just loved to go! She would ride in bags, baskets, on bikes…it didn’t matter. Sadly I lost her last summer. She crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 18 years. I still miss her a lot.
I’m glad you like this picture Rowena.
Oh..the rainbow bridge. That worried me with my Bilbo. He is 8 going on 9 but he’s got a second wind since we’ve had Lady. He’s lost a fair amount of weight…which she’s put on I think. It’s so hard to say goodbye. Sorry for your loss xx Rowena
Thanks Rowena. It is hard to say good-bye. Chelsea was my constant companion.
