When Tina and I travel we tend to “chase squirrels”
During our recent trip another couple rode back from Canada with us. We were happy to learn they also enjoy chasing squirrels.
During one of our squirrel chasing adventures, in Niagara Falls Ontario, we happened across this old cemetery.
I enjoyed walking around and reading the headstones.
I also loved this beautiful old tree.

This abandon gas station is located in a historic neighborhood. When I see buildings like this I think about the stories, the people, and even the products that once were. I can imagine the rotary phone on the wall and the manual cash register on the counter. I am certain the guy behind the counter knows every person that walks through the door and the young man pumping gas knows every car by sight.
Its an era of simpler times, summer evenings on the front porch and lightening bugs by the thousands.
