18 years is considered very old for a dog. a typical life-span is 15 – 16 years….few live longer. I am very fortunate to have her in my life so long. And she is still healthy…though her age does show.
Thank you for the nomination. It is my first!! You are very kind. I must run off to work….but will work to answer questions and nominate later this evening!
Wow that means Chelsea has surpassed the typical age for a dog. She must mean a lot to you, I hope she stays healthy all the way. I have cats, so I know how important pets mean, they’re more than pets, they’re practically family! You welcome, take your time and have fun doing it 🙂

Yes, she is quite old for a dog. Her age is certainly showing but she is still very aware and appears to like her life. I know the time is not far off….but for now we enjoy the time we have!! I do love cats too!! But I only have dogs at this time.
I love your Chelsea in the bluebonnets pictures!
Thank you Colleen!
Sweetest pom alive.
Thank you Jackie!! She is my angel!!
Chelsea is so cute! Is 18-year old considered old or young in a dog’s world? Anyway, I have nominated you for a Liebster Award for your great blog. 🙂 You can read all the details here on my post to find out what to do next:
