Weekly Photo Challenge: Spring / Chelsea’s Annual Bluebonnet Picture

This is my 2nd submission for the photo challenge “Spring.”

Chelsea is my 18 year old Pomeranian. Every year I take a picture of her in the bluebonnets. This picture was taken a week ago near Waco TX.

18 years is considered very old for a dog. a typical life-span is 15 – 16 years….few live longer. I am very fortunate to have her in my life so long. And she is still healthy…though her age does show.
Thank you for the nomination. It is my first!! You are very kind. I must run off to work….but will work to answer questions and nominate later this evening!

Wow that means Chelsea has surpassed the typical age for a dog. She must mean a lot to you, I hope she stays healthy all the way. I have cats, so I know how important pets mean, they’re more than pets, they’re practically family! You welcome, take your time and have fun doing it 🙂

Yes, she is quite old for a dog. Her age is certainly showing but she is still very aware and appears to like her life. I know the time is not far off….but for now we enjoy the time we have!! I do love cats too!! But I only have dogs at this time.
