365 Days of Photos – Day 69

Does this puppy look guilty?

I will not chase little bunnies.

I will not chase little bunnies.

She is guilty! She caught a baby bunny this morning….and apparently thought bringing it into the kitchen would make her moms proud? Happy?

Well it didn’t! She got chewed out…her response was to lay her head on Tina’s bag and put on her

“I am so sorry Mom” face.

“I will never chase little bunnies again.”

“I just wanted to show you what I found….I didn’t mean to break him.”

Do you think we could stay upset with her? Of course not!

I had my own bad kitty when Theo did the same thing.
I’m willing to forgive the mice he tries to bring into the house, but NO BUNNIES.

Then I had to be more specific when he showed up shortly after with a chipmunk. Thankfully we managed to get the (still very much alive) chipper away from him!

With spring upon us, I should remind him of the no-bunny, no-chipper rule šŸ™‚

I would tell him to pick on something his own size, but unfortunately he thinks he’s an alpha male, … and he does attempt to take on other bigger animals. I’ve had the vet bills to prove it :/ Dumbass cat.

Sometimes I think animals think they are the size of what they see. Because they have no other frame of reference. So even though my lab is big….she lives with mostly small dogs so for all I know she thinks she’s a chihuahua!
Maybe your (dumbass) cat sees a big animal and thinks they are the same size! It’s a theory I’m working on! šŸ˜‰

At one time I wanted my next dog to be a Golden Retriever. Instead I rescued a chihuahua. I hung a picture of a Golden in his kennel so he would have something to aspire to! (I know….accept my children as they are!) šŸ™‚
