Thanks Sue….me too! There are so many churches that do not recognize us as a family. This church is so traditional in so many ways…yet it is made up predominantly of LGBT.

Pleased you have found a beautiful Church family. So often there can be so many straight-jackets in the Church, I’m surprised people can breathe.I remember going to Churches where women were all dressed in these long floral dresses as though they were some kind of uniform. I’m not perfectly tolerant myself but I do strive to be egalitarian in every aspect of my life. It is a constant battle. UNfortunately, we humans have a way to go before we can love as freely as Christ has loved us.
We are all full of flaws! All we can do is try to be better!! And forgive ourselves when we screw up!!
I make a lot of mistakes..compounded by my dreadful memory. Left my Nikon SLR out by the pool where I was photographing my daughter today. My husband found it tonight and I was very lucky because it has been raining a lot lately.
That would’ve been a heartbreaker!!
