365 Days of Photos – Day 148

Have I mentioned lately that it has been raining in Texas? Maybe I whined about it more than mentioned it!

Anyway….This is NOT a lake. This is a field covered with water.

These are a few of the cows that are supposed to be grazing in this field.

Stay Away From the Water.

Stay Away From the Water.

They say the rain is supposed to stop. No more rain for at least a week. It is past time for the rain to stop. People have lost lives, homes, pets and cars. The rain has done its damage in Texas.

People in Texas are truly stunned. We rarely worry about rain ruining an outing or activity. Lately everything has hinged on the rain. Hopefully the predictions are right and we will have an opportunity to dry out a bit during this upcoming week.

As much as I shouldn’t laugh, MWPG’s comment about Texas always going big is a great quip. Wish I had thought of it first 😉

Sad for those who have lost so much. Stay dry, my friend.

LOL….no worries Joanne, everything really is bigger in Texas. So when we flood…we flood big!!
It is sad what has happened and for those who have lost so much I am truly sorry. But I tend to enjoy finding the humor in even the most tragic of events. So needless to say….I inappropriately loved MWFG’s comment and I’m glad it made you laugh. 😉
Today was the first “all sun, all day” it was beautiful!! We had lunch on a patio, I took a bike ride….love the blue skies!!

It sounds like we’ll be taking the rain off your hands soon. Hope all is well with you and yours.

The world’s weather seems to be ‘broken’ these days. Everyone seems to suffering with too much of one sort or another – floods in Texas, India’s having lethal heatwaves … it’s all wrong!
