This morning I was sitting on a client’s porch. We were visiting, when a Cardinal landed on the porch steps. I’ve been wanting to catch a photo of a cardinal all summer. I mentioned to my client how much I like cardinals and how they always fly away before I can get a picture.
My client told me this one would not fly away. When I asked him why he pointed to the hibiscus plant beside me and said “His babies are in there.”
Sure enough….I was sitting within a foot of these cute little babies.

I was so disappointed I didn’t have my camera with me. I had to take the pictures with my iPhone…..so they are much grainier than I’d like. But it’s a picture!!
WOW! How lucky are you to have such a great view of the babies! I’m guessing mommy-bird wasn’t thrilled though and making a bit of noise to distract you 🙂

Her and dad flew around watching us…..as though they were pacing!
LOL! Poor little things get in such a panic. I can imagine!!
I felt bad for them but enjoyed my few minutes with their babies!
