Did anyone else notice the skip from day 332 to 338?
If not…please just skip ahead to today’s photo…nothing to see here.
If you did…I don’t know what happened! Some how over the last 338 days I lost track of the days. I suspect it was during my vacation last August when I was off the grid for a week and had to do some major catching up. However, I have no desire to go back and look into it. I really don’t! 😉 So lets move onto today’s photo….
We made a quick trip to west Texas (30 hour round trip) to visit Tina’s aunt, uncle and dad. We never seem to have as much time as we would like to spend with the family…but we always enjoy getting to see them even if only for a short time.
It is cotton picking season out west. Miles and miles of cotton fields. I couldn’t resist stopping for a few pictures.
Although I am trying to be more observant, I missed the day thing. . What day thing. .? There was no day thing here. .. 😉
Love seeing the cotton. It is such a beautiful plant and so useful. Thanks for sharing!
No day thing here!!
It is a beautiful plant. I can’t imagine though how painful it must’ve been to pick…back in the day.
The massive bales lined up all over west Texas certainly shows how different harvesting this crop is today compared to days past
I’ve never seen a cotton field … it reminds me of a field covered in patchy snow 🙂
Snow of the south!
The lighting was perfect for you. Great photos.
Thank you Cee!
The lighting was great….the sun was about an hour from setting. Beautiful time of day to look out over the fields.
Thanks for your comment. I hope you have a great weekend!
Great photos! almost there (365 days…)
Thanks Amy!!
That’s pretty much how I balance my check book too. If there is a discrepancy of minor amount, I am in no mood to go back through and find it! I just take the statement balance and move on. Lol. I did not notice the day thing either. I probably wouldn’t have noticed it on the last day either, so there you go.
I guess I could’ve pretended I didn’t actually start until later in January!! But then I would’ve had to do more posts!
