There is a small lake near Tina’s Dad’s house in west Texas. Apparently it is quite popular to Canadians…well Canadian geese.
We stopped by the lake before leaving Brownfield Friday. It is hard to describe the massive number of Canadian geese hanging out at this lake. It is not a big lake. Its a small lake in the middle of a small town.
I do not know much about Canadian geese but it appeared they were hanging out in cliques. Large groups would fly off while other groups watched from the shore.
A short time later, another group would fly off.Β
The few ducks hanging out at the lake appeared a bit out of place.
Imagine the goose poop….
Sue, have you seen goose poop painting? An artist use goose poop to paint pictures. It’s quite impressive. (I didn’t buy one π
LOL!
I don’t think I’d buy one either!
No I have not, thank goodness! But maybe I can find that artist and see if he needs any “supplies”. We get a lot of geese here as I am sure you do as well. π
Maybe a side income…goose poop supplier!
Some are quite good, actually. And it’s from Rochester, MN. Yeah! π
Thanks for sharing the link
LOL!
Tina reminded me not to open my mouth while looking up!!!
No joke!
Love your photos, Tree. We have lots of these and I enjoy watching them. I remember being chased by geese when I was young, so I watch them from distance. π
Have a wonderful day.
I have the same memory of geese chasing. But these moved away from me when I tried to get close π¦
I’m glad you like the photos Helen. Glad you stopped by.
Have a great week!
The two photos of the geese in flight are beautiful. Nice catch.
I’m not so fond of Canadian Geese. They are pooping machines. Nothing more – just poop.
Thank you Joanne.
The ducks didn’t seem to like the geese either.
Fortunately I don’t have much experience with Canadian geese and their poop!
