Week 2 of wildflowers continues…

I have no idea the name of this flower. I found it along the highway in Oklahoma. I think it is very pretty. Sadly once I started looking at the photos I realized I didn’t have a very good picture of them. But hopefully someone (Midwestern Plant Girl) will be able to identify this lovely flower.

Week of wildflowers continues….

This weekend we took a road trip to Eureka Springs Arkansas. I saw quite a few wildflowers I don’t typically see in Texas. So I have decided to expand the week of wildflowers to “Two” weeks of wildflowers.

A few weeks ago I posted pictures of Pink Indian Paint Brushes. Several of you mentioned only being aware of orange Indian Paint Brushes. Driving through Oklahoma today I saw large patches of orange Indian Paint Brushes…of course I stopped along the highway to get pictures!
