I would like to call this series of photos “Let’s Not Fly A Kite” Me and several friends spent the good part of an afternoon trying to get the kite airborne….with no luck.
I choose to blame the wind. It couldn’t possibly be our lack of trick kite flying skills!

Perfect photos for this week’s Let’s Go Fly a Kite. Thanks for playing 🙂
Thank you Cee!
Well, you did go fly a kite… 😉 I think I will dream of this tonight. Ha.
LOL….All I can see is the kite diving into the ground! 🙂
I’ve never understood the attraction of flying a kite. It’s frustrating to get off the ground, and then what? … you just stand there holding a string with your neck cranked back looking at the sky. Nope – don’t get it.
LOL! I get your point…but think of how exciting things get when the kite starts dive bombing toward an electrical line!!
Needless to say…the photos proved our kite never got far enough off the ground to strain our necks!!
Good Grief … hydro lines never factored into my thinking at all!!
See how exciting it can get?!!

I hope you have a fabulous week!
Wow! Thank you Cee!
I hope your week is fabulous too!
It’s is certainly starting out that way. Thanks Tree.
Looks like you were channeling your inner Charlie Brown – good thing there wasn’t a kite eating tree nearby!
LOL….it was very much like a Charlie Brown kite flying adventure!!
Ha ha! That’s pretty funny. I like that you had a different perspective on the whole kite flying activity to share. I haven’t flown a kite in YEARS, so who knows if I did it might look just like this. 😉
Congrats on being featured.
Thanks!
If you decide to “go fly a kite” consider yourself warned…..this could happen to you too!! 😉
