Once, rarely twice, a year we get hit with an ice storm. It is that time here in North Texas. As a former Northern I know people up north see an inch of white stuff on the ground and laugh that we shut down the city. I must tell you, as a person that drove many years in crazy winter weather…I now laugh because I get the day off!
I only left the house to play with my dog in the back yard…and take pictures…I did not leave the yard 🙂

Yeah, up here, if there isn’t over a foot, they expect you at work. .. Next job I get, I’m making up 2 children so I can get of the 10 days off they have already been off this season. ..

When I lived up north I managed a group home….so if it snowed we were open. I often told my staff they would be able to get home if they were at work…so I expected them to get to work. ;-(
I was that boss! Of course non of my staff created children!! 🙂
It’s been cold this week. We have no snow or ice, so that’s good.
