This guy may not be a “real” gorilla…but he’s cute! He was part of the cheering crowd during the 3 Day walk for breast cancer. The lovely people surrounding him are my dear friends, teammates and fellow walkers.

Whenever my (humorous) father would see a photo of a monkey/ape/gorilla.. He would say, “Awe look! It’s Ilex or her brother”. We finally got old enough to respond with, “we look like you! ” 🐵

Those are amazing photos. I love gorilla faces… they just seem so contemplative. Of course they’re probably contemplating how they’d like to rip my body in two… 🙂
