I had decided not to post anymore bluebonnet pictures. Though I love them…there can come a point where its over-kill!
However, yesterday we saw this patch of bluebonnets that look like a river of flowers! So yes…here is another bluebonnet picture!!

The flowers are bluebonnets. They are the State Flower of Texas and grows primarily in Texas. They are a very beautiful flower and bloom in the month of April.
As for my four legged children…they are dogs 🙂

As for the bluebonnets….All I can tell you is what I Google. I love flowers, love planting them and photographing them…I do not know them scientifically! The consistent name I come up with is….Lupinus Texensis with the scientific family name being….Fabaceae (I really hope that’s right!!)
