Saturday morning I drove to the local gym. I sat there in the parking lot for several minutes. I felt like I forgot something.
Water bottle, Check.
Earbuds, check.
Phone, AKA something to listen to while working out, check.
Maybe I need to check my clothing….
T-shirt, check.
Shorts, check.
Shoes,
Shoes,
Crap…flip flops.
I drove back home, got my shoes and returned for my workout.
You are a better person than I am. I would have considered a *sign* that today’s workout wasn’t in the cards, gone home and stayed home π
LOL….I was tempted!!
Ha ha… This reminds me long time ago my husband had some Japanese visitors. After they left the house, my husband heard someone knocking on the door. It turned out that they forgot their shoes. It was in winter too. π
Glad it isn’t just me!!
Gaa! I do this constantly. Enough that I keep shoes in my trunk π
Good planning! I may need to start planning ahead for my forgetfulness!
I don’t see it as a sign of age but one of wisdom. Your brain has so many more important things to remember that it can’t be bothered with such trivial things like shoes!!
I think you are so right!
