The leaves are still hanging onto the branches. Tomorrow it will be December, Christmas is 25 days away….and the leaves are still on the trees. 
Seasons run a bit odd here in Texas….due to the warmer temperatures. Sometimes you just have to decorate for the holidays and trust the calendar is right.

From the looks of it, you might skip winter completely and so straight back into spring.
We are having considerably milder temperatures than usual – today it’s raining. I too am finding it a challenge to embrace the Christmas-y spirit.
… but it shall be done!!
Usually fall is the season that goes unnoticed here in Texas…but not this year.

No matter what, we will conquer this seasonal issue and celebrate Christmas! It’s a challenge but I think we can do it!!

We started last weekend. Got “big” tree up and decorated entry way with our new moose decorations and moose ornaments. We were even given a moose nativity!!
Much yet to do….but my love for the moose is certainly shining through 🙂

Apparently it was bought in New Mexico.
We have searched our area for ANY moose decoration….so little luck 😕
