I took a bike ride along the Trinity River earlier today. The banks were covered with Blanket Flowers….I had to stop and take some pictures.

365 Days of Photos – Day 126
I love large fields of one object. I enjoy watching fields of grass or corn stretch across an open land.
I have been admiring this field for several weeks. I drive by it nearly everyday. Earlier this week I stopped to take a few pictures. My plan was to shoot photos of the entire field. Maybe a shot of the factories in the background.
However, I zoomed in on the hay (I’m guessing at it being hay) and was impressed with the texture and shades of the photo. So instead of a huge field of hay….you get a close up. Did you ever think hay was this pretty? I didn’t!

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Pink
The color for breast cancer awareness is PINK. Over the past four years of involvement in the Susan G. Komen 3 Day walk my collection of “pink” has grown to an extreme.
The 3 days spent walking for breast cancer is simply a sea of pink….we even sleep in pink tents!
When living in a village of pink Its important to make sure you can tell your tent from the other tents when you go to the port-a-pots at 3:00AM. This is the tent I called home for 3 days.
Cee’s photo challenges are always fun. If you would like to join the fun or simply enjoy more photos go visit Cee….its a fun blog to hang out at!

This is a tower that was once used by Forest Rangers. While in Eureka Springs my friend Corey and I climbed the tower.
But before we could climb to the top we first had to get inside the gate. Corey put in his 4 quarters and pushed right through the gate. I put in my 4 quarters and the gate jammed. Three Bikers were in line behind me. Each of us attempted to un-jam the quarters – Corey waited patiently.
Finally the three bikers and me decided we were not going to get through the gate and since there was no one available to help us….we would climb the fence.
Once over the fence the climb began.
The End!!
