Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge – #18

This lady stands on a cliff overlooking Basin Spring Park in downtown Eureka Springs Arkansas. She is quite unique and some might even say odd!

I did a little research and according to Roadsideamerica.com her name is Aza of which is short for Adora Zerlina Astra. She is considered the goddess of feminine energy in the cosmos.

Aza - Goddess of Feminine Energy

Aza – Goddess of Feminine Energy

Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge is a great place to share those “unique” photos we just aren’t sure what else to do with but don’t want to hit the delete button.

365 Days of Photos – Day 119

Week 2 of wildflowers continues…

wildflower

I have no idea the name of this flower. I found it along the highway in Oklahoma. I think it is very pretty. Sadly once I started looking at the photos I realized I didn’t have a very good picture of them. But hopefully someone (Midwestern Plant Girl) will be able to identify this lovely flower.

Z = Zippity Skippity

Zippity Skippity….Yes I actually say these two words as a way to express my excitement. Allow me to use it in a sentence…

“Zippity Skippity I am finished with the A – Z Challenge!”

I have truly enjoyed this challenge and even though it was more time consuming than I expected I will likely do it again next year.

Thank you to everyone that stopped by my blog during this past month. And a special thanks to everyone that took time to comment. I am excited to say that I’ve met several new bloggers (possibly even friends) through this challenge.

This is a photo of me sharing my “Zippity Skippity” jump!

Yep...that's a jump!

Yep…that’s a jump!

The A – Z Challenge will run through April. Each day is a different letter and a different photo…I hope you all enjoy!

Y = Youth

“Youth is wasted on the young” – George Bernard Shaw

It is so true.

I recently turned 52. How did that happen?

Every now and then it dawns on me that I’m not getting a re-do.
I’ll never get a chance to jump or run like I did as a child.
Driving is a necessity….its not exciting like it was at 16.
I’ll never see my twenties again (that’s probably good…I didn’t treat them well).
Any chance I had of giving birth to my own child is long gone.

When I look back on my youth I question why I made some decisions.
What if I turned right instead of left. What person would I be if I had not walked away from a bad situation or walked into a place of peace.

Sometimes its hard to picture every little instant and every little step that brought me to this age and this moment.

Youth is long gone. But my future is bright. When I turn 82 I will look back at the youth of 52….my goal is to enjoy every possible moment in between.

The A – Z Challenge will run through April. Each day is a different letter and a different photo…I hope you all enjoy!

X = ??

Why do we have letters in our alphabet that make it hard to complete the A – Z challenge?

I have thought about this pesky little letter all day….and I’ve got nothing!!

Of course different words came to mind….but I could not seem to get my creative juices running. So tonight, with a touch of sadness, I admit defeat!

However, the letter X isn’t really a winner…it is simply a letter that chose to make my day a bit more challenging!

2 days remain of this A – Z challenge. The good news is the X is over…the next 2 letters will be much easier.

I will spend the next year searching for an X post…so A – Z 2016 will be successful!!

The A – Z Challenge will run through April. Each day is a different letter and a different photo…I hope you all enjoy!
