Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge
You know it is cold in Texas when the fire hydrants are wearing jackets!
Is it just me or does it look like the tree fell in a hole head first?!

The Trinity Park is a place I enjoy spending time. The park is next to the Trinity river, a stones throw from downtown Fort Worth.
The painted pillars are under Lancaster Ave and located near the Duck Pond. I’ve admired the art and colorful addition for some time but only recently looked up “Trinity Pillar Project.” I was pleased to learn the project was the brain child of a high school freshman!
I hope you enjoy the photos.

My partner (Tina) and I are on day 13 of following a plant based diet. Our intention is to avoid all animal products, oils, and processed foods for at least 6 weeks. After the 6 week period we will likely add some items back to our diets….but for now we are both feeling energetic and quite happy with our choice to make these changes in our lives.
Today, for a treat, we went to the Spiral Diner for lunch. It is one of the few places in Fort Worth that serves only vegan. It was nice eating at a place where we did not have to ask “is the bread vegan?” “Do you make that with milk?” We simply relaxed and enjoyed our meals!

This farm caught my eye this morning. The sun was hitting it just right! So yes indeed, I did a quick detour and took a few pictures before moving on up the highway!
I got very excited when I noticed the horses heading toward the barn for breakfast!
Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me…so these photos were taken with my iPhone 5s

We travelled to Ohio Sunday for my Great Aunt’s funeral. We were only there for 24 hours and experienced snow for 20 of those hours!
The snow was quite beautiful and we were quite cold. I didn’t have much time to take pictures and I didn’t have my good camera with me (had to use iPhone 5s) but I couldn’t resist snapping a few quick shots since I rarely get the opportunity to take snow pictures.
It truly was beautiful…but I can honestly say I am thrilled to be back in Texas where the temperatures were near 70 (F) when our plane touched down.
